Lanlan geary cube 3x3 by Oskar Vand Deventer
Designed by the prolific and famous puzzle inventor, Oskar van Deventer, the geary cube looks like a regular 3x3 cube, but the stickers hint at the hidden treasure.
Turning one face of the cube, causes to opposite face, to rotate in the opposite direction!
Hidden gears are the secret to this fantastic, challenging puzzle, that should be in any collection.
Much more rewarding than a standard gear cube

A really fun puzzle that is harder than a normal gear cube, and less algorithm based than a standard 3x3. It is really satisfying to come up with a solution to this rather than just executing the same old techniques like you would in a standard cube. I think my method was a bit ham handed, but it worked, so was immensely satisfying. It also looks and feels great too. Break the norm guys! Embrace the non WCA dark side and this is a great place to start.
